Normandy Music Night
Normandy Music Night is a monthly acoustic music event held at the Normandy Presbyterian Church in Normandy, TN . Although it is held in the sanctuary of the Presbyterian church, it is not necessarily a church-affiliated gathering. My name is Mary Crossno, and I host the Normandy Music Night every first Friday night of each month (excluding July and September). The vision for NMN is to bring quality musicians and their gift to the Normandy community for an evening of great music where the musicians receive the benefit of a sincere, supportive and listening audience, and the audience gets to hear some of the best up- and-coming talent in the Nashville Americana music scene today. I love all types of music, and I strive to introduce different styles to the listeners who venture out for this unique evening of listening pleasure. The gifts that these musicians bring to the audience with their original acoustic music, their talented, skilled musicianship and their unique expressions of life experience through song are what I am interested in promoting at this community event. The many talents we have been fortunate to hear at NMN have originated from as far away as England and as close as our own Normandy community. All events are free and open to the public, and they are advertised in all the local papers, radio and cable stations.
